Who We Are

Tom’s Country Place, established in 1959, has been family-owned and operated for 65 years.

Our venue can accommodate 40 to 450 guests. Located within a wooded area on over 20 acres of scenic grounds, our beautifully landscaped outdoor gardens feature a sandstone terrace and gazebo to provide a picturesque setting for your event photographs or wedding ceremony.

With our 65 years of experience, Tom’s can help you make your next event a wonderful experience for you and your loved ones. Our dedication to providing traditional hospitality along with new and innovative culinary expertise sets us apart from other banquet facilities.


Our History

In 1945, a hard-working farmer, Thomas Hricovec had a vision; he wanted to cater to families with a welcoming atmosphere. His wife, Mary, stood by him and dedicated her time as a fantastic cook to help him in their new journey. The two of them worked together along with family and friends to make their dream come true. Using their farmland, the Hricovecs changed their lifestyle from simply farming food, to serving food as well. They broke ground in 1958 and celebrated their first wedding reception in the fall of 1959.

Thomas and Mary instilled the importance of hard work and dedication in their family. The second, third, and fourth generations are continuing this strong family tradition. Third-generation owner Bill Hricovec, a culinary graduate of Johnson & Wales University, along with our team at Tom’s Country Place integrates traditional family recipes with a mix of new and innovative menu selections to offer you a wide variety of choices for all tastes. The Hricovec family thanks you for your patronage and is committed to upholding the expectations of delicious food and fine service which have been our hallmarks from the beginning.
